A paid public toilet by Oslo Central Station, open around the clock every day. The changing table is inside the accessible toilet, and OSM says there is a charge for the changing table itself as well. Byporten, further up in this guide, is a few minutes away on the other side of the station.

The cafe occupies the old brewhouse at Bogstad Manor, serving freshly baked Bogstad rolls and buns, open sandwiches and cakes, with a fireplace in winter and outdoor seating in summer. Open Tuesday to Sunday 11-16. A natural stop when visiting the farm, the museum shop or the playground by Bogstadvannet.

Bar and pizza place in the Toyen culture house on Toyen square, with Italian pizza and its own kids' pizza. Spacious premises with long tables, smaller tables and booths, so there is room to linger with the family. Open from 12 every day. Outdoor seating on the square in summer. Ved fergeleiet, Hovedøya

A free public toilet with a baby changing table on Hovedøya, right by the ferry landing and the information board. Four cubicles, and adapted for wheelchair users. The island is reached by the B1 boat from Aker brygge. OSM gives no date for when the information was last re-checked.

Bakery and cafe in the Forskningsparken science park, run by Nord Oslo, roasting their own coffee beans and baking cakes and pastries from local ingredients. Baked goods and salads by day, pizza on selected evenings. Open weekdays only (7:30-17:30), closed at weekends.

Neighbourhood bakery by Carl Berners plass, with bread, pastries and cinnamon buns from W.B. Samson. The transport hub right outside has both metro and tram, so it is easy to reach.

Halvdan Svartes gate 58, 0268 Oslo, Frogner

The cafe of the City Museum and Theatre Museum at Frogner Manor, run by SULT. Coffee, fresh baked goods and lunch dishes, and in summer outdoor seating in the manor's large courtyard. There have been reports that prams are not allowed inside, and that the spindle chairs are not comfortable for sitting a long time, for instance while breastfeeding. Follows the museum's opening hours, and sits in the middle of Frogner Park.

Shopping centre at Storo with around 145 shops and services and over 30 cafes and eateries. The nursing and changing room is on the second floor and has microwaves. Lifts, wide walkways and a roof over your head whatever the weather. A hub for metro, tram and bus, 15 minutes from the city centre.

Restaurant and bar in Kunstnernes Hus, serving from late morning to late evening, closed on Mondays. The outdoor seating area is large, with plenty of room for strollers, and indoors there is room for both strollers and play. Kunstnernes Hus has its own changing facilities and an elevator to the upper floors by the reception.

Cafe and pub on Kristian Augusts gate in the city centre, built on Dutch tradition, calm during the day and lively in the evening. Has drawing supplies and Lego Duplo for the children, plus a changing table, room for a pram and high chairs. Open Tuesday to Friday from 3pm and Saturday from 1pm. Closed Monday and Sunday. Neighborhood café in the Salvation Army's new community hall in Ensjø, with plenty of room for new-parent groups and a large play area for children just outside. The café is at Ensjøveien 23, which is where the name comes from, and started out open Wednesday to Sunday from 10am to 3pm. The Salvation Army runs it as work training, and has capped all coffee at 50 kroner.

A public toilet with a baby changing table in Klosterenga park at Galgeberg. It costs five kroner, and the toilet is unisex and adapted for wheelchair users. Last re-checked in OpenStreetMap in May 2025. The playground in the park is right next to it.

Neighbourhood cafe on Københavngata in Grünerløkka, owned by the City of Oslo, where the Grunerlokka borough provides work training for young adults aged 18 to 25. Serves breakfast, lunch, coffee and baked goods at low prices. Clean toilet with a changing table, but prams must be left outside.

Neighborhood restaurant in Veitvet senter with an internationally inspired menu for lunch and dinner. Open Monday to Friday 11am-7pm, closed Saturday and Sunday. Anne pa Landet's cafe sits in Frogner Park, serving handmade food, home baking and lunch with plenty of outdoor seating in the middle of the park. Open daily 10-17 all year (closed Christmas Eve), making it an easy stop mid-walk with a pram. There is lots of room for prams outdoors, while the indoor area is limited.

The cafe pavilion in the middle of Bjerkedalen park, with large outdoor seating facing the pond and playgrounds right nearby. The park has an open stream with fish and ducks, and a natural ice rink from 1 November to 1 April when the weather allows. It won the prize for best Norwegian outdoor space in 2016.

A large street food hall right in the middle of the Barcode area next to Oslo S, with around 14 different food stalls offering dishes from around the world, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Has its own play area for children. The play area has its own opening hours: it is open until 16:00 on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and until 20:00 on other days (last checked 25 July 2026). The play room is not mentioned on their website, but the owner visited and confirmed it on 4 October 2026.

Cafe on the third floor of Thon Senter Storo, where both food and cakes are made from scratch in their own kitchen with seasonal ingredients. Works for everything from coffee and cake to lunch. You can take the pram right up to the table, and they have a changing table, high chairs and their own children's menu. Right next to a baby shop and a toy shop, and tables can be reserved. Open Monday to Friday 9am to 9pm and Saturday 9am to 7pm, closed Sunday (checked 24.10.2026).

Ved gjestebrygga, Gressholmen

A free public toilet with a baby changing table on Gressholmen, by the guest quay. Adapted for wheelchair users. Gressholmen is joined to Rambergøya and Heggholmen, so you can walk between them on dry land, and the island is reached by the B1 boat from Aker brygge. OSM gives no date for when the information was last re-checked.

Ljabruveien 87, 1266 Oslo, Nordstrand

Neighbourhood restaurant in the old industrial courtyard at Ljabru Verk, with a Neapolitan pizza oven and a charcoal grill. The courtyard seats over a hundred and has boules, so the children have something to do between courses. Closed Monday and Tuesday, otherwise open Wednesday 4-9pm, Thursday and Friday 4-11pm, Saturday 2-11pm and Sunday 1-8pm (opening hours checked 17 October 2026). Baby changing and high chairs available, and easy to get in with a pram.

A baby changing room in the ground floor toilets at CC Vest. The centre is large and level inside, so it is a short walk from the car park and there is plenty of room for a pram. OSM does not say whether the toilet costs anything.
