Cafe and restaurant in a merchant's house from around 1730, which from 1839 to 1865 housed a children's asylum (hence the name) and later a hospital and Norway's first nursing school. The cafe has been running since 1993. The cobbled courtyard between the wings is large and sheltered from traffic.
