Mini golf in Oslo

Oslo has four mini golf courses, and they are quite different: two park courses at Torshov and Grünerløkka that open in summer, Søylehuset at Ekeberg, and an indoor course by Youngstorget with an age limit in the evening. Children and adults can play the same round, and none of the courses require booking.

Outdoors and indoors

The two park courses, Torshov and Grünerløkka, are open daily through the summer from midday until evening, but both depend on the weather. If rain looks likely, check before you set off. Torshov sits by Torshovparken and Grünerløkka at the lower end of the Akerselva river, so both combine well with a walk along the water.

Søylehuset at Ekeberg has two courses with waterfalls, streams and bridges, plus a café on site. It also offers birthday packages, with a free round for the birthday child. The indoor course in the city centre is the only one that is independent of the weather.

One thing to know about the city centre course

The indoor course by Youngstorget is inside a bar. During the daytime at weekends it is an ordinary family activity, and they open at noon on Saturdays and Sundays. As the evening goes on it becomes more of a bar than an activity venue, and there is a 20-year age limit after 7pm. So if you are going with children, it has to be before 7pm.

Price and age

Prices are low compared with most indoor activities in the city. Torshov lists 90 kroner for adults and 60 for children; the others are in the same range. The courses are listed from age five, but younger siblings can happily share a round with an adult.
