Mini golf in Oslo
Mini golf is one of the few activities where a five-year-old and a fifteen-year-old can play the same round without anyone getting bored. The courses are short enough for small children to last, and tricky enough that the adults have to concentrate. Oslo has four courses, and they are quite different from each other.

Indoor 18-hole mini golf integrated into a bar with a camping theme, near Youngstorget. A nice daytime activity on weekends (opens at noon Saturday and Sunday), but becomes more of a beer-and-drinks venue later in the evening - 20-year age limit applies after 7pm.

The two park courses, Torshov and Grünerløkka, are open daily through the summer from late morning until evening, but both depend on the weather. If rain is building, it is worth checking before you set off. Torshov sits by Torshovparken and Grünerløkka at the lower end of the Akerselva river, so both combine well with a walk along the water.
Søylehuset at Ekeberg has two courses with waterfalls, streams and bridges, plus a café on site. It also offers birthday packages, with a free round for the birthday child. The indoor course in the city centre is the only one that is independent of the weather.
One thing to know about the city centre course
The indoor course by Youngstorget is inside a bar. During the daytime at weekends it is an ordinary family activity, and they open at noon on Saturdays and Sundays. As the evening goes on it becomes more of a bar than an activity venue, and there is a 20-year age limit after 7pm. So if you are going with children, the earlier part of the day is the one that works.
Price and age
Prices are low compared with most indoor activities in the city. Torshov lists 70 kroner for adults and 50 for children; the others are in the same range. From around the age of five most children manage a round on their own, while younger siblings can happily share a club with an adult. None of the courses require booking.
