Neighborhood restaurant in Veitvet senter with an internationally inspired menu for lunch and dinner. Open Monday to Friday 11am-7pm, closed Saturday and Sunday. Its own play corner with toys and a changing table in the toilet. There have been reports that prams are no longer allowed inside, so pram space is left unconfirmed. Also offers catering and can be booked for birthdays and parties.

Paviljongen i Bjerkedalen
Refstadveien 73, 0584 Oslo, Bjerke
The cafe pavilion in the middle of Bjerkedalen park, with large outdoor seating facing the pond and playgrounds right nearby. The park has an open stream with fish and ducks, and a natural ice rink from 1 November to 1 April when the weather allows. It won the prize for best Norwegian outdoor space in 2016.

HĂ„ndbakt
Midtveien 44, 0598 Oslo, Bjerke
Sourdough bakery and neighbourhood cafe at Vollebekk, with room for prams indoors and a changing table in the toilet. Everything is baked by hand on site, and the home-made buns get praise. HĂ„ndbakt also has branches on KjĂžlberggata at TĂžyen and in Geitemyrsveien at Lindern.

Mexican-inspired lunch bar at Ăkern with wraps, smoothies and coffee over the counter. The place is small, so it is more somewhere to grab something quickly than to settle in with a pram. In return they open at 7 on weekdays and 9 on Saturdays. Closed on Sundays.
