The open kindergarten at Tøyen is based in the K1 activity house in Kolstadgata, right by Tøyen square and the library. Open Monday to Thursday, free and drop-in, aimed at the very youngest, from birth to age two.
Note July: it closes for the summer, as it does on public holidays. With a child over two, Bøler and Bogerud in Østensjø are the closest offerings that welcome children up to five and six.

Aktivitetshuset K1 at Tøyen, open Monday to Thursday and closed on Fridays. A free open kindergarten with no registration, for children from nought to two, a lively meeting place for young and old. Closed all of July and on public holidays.
