A school band with a big band line-up rather than the usual wind band - the concert version is called Rødtvet Storband. Members are aged 9 to 18, and the band has been going since 1965. Rehearsals are at Rødtvet school. For a child who wants to play brass, wind or percussion in a band rather than a marching corps, this is an unusual option in Oslo.
