Children's football from age six at the neighbourhood club Røa IL in the west of the city, with teams for both girls and boys in each year group. As in all Norwegian children's football there is equal playing time and no league tables up to age twelve. Røa is a multi-sport club with gymnastics, bandy and cross-country skiing among others too.
