A scout group at Manglerud, part of Oslospeiderne. Scouting's membership fee is low compared with organised sport, and most equipment is borrowed at the start - which makes the threshold lower than for most other regular activities. The group meets weekly through the school year, with weekend trips and a summer camp on top.
