Kampen skole, Gamle Oslo
The city's second-oldest school band, founded in 1906 by William Farre - only Møllergata from 1901 is older. The band has around 90 members across aspirant, junior and main bands, and was awarded the City of Oslo's culture prize in 2017. Aspirants are admitted from the lower grades, with an instrument on loan and a dedicated instructor.
