The district's large sports club, founded in 1918, with sections for football, skiing, gymnastics and tennis. Football is the biggest, with teams in all children's and youth classes and a home ground at Grorud sports facility. A classic neighbourhood club that has been a gathering point in the Groruddalen valley for over a hundred years.
