A contemporary-art museum out on Tjuvholmen, in a landmark building by Renzo Piano surrounded by a sculpture park by the fjord. The art is big, strange and playful, and there is a family workshop every Sunday from noon to 4pm. Rasmusklubben is a free art club for children aged 5 to 12.

At the family workshop children and adults solve creative tasks together. The city beach and outdoor sculptures are free to explore. Children under 20 get in free, adults pay 180 kroner and students or seniors 100. While exhibitions are being changed the price drops to 130 and 80. The museum is closed on Mondays, except in July and August when it opens Monday 12 to 17. Otherwise it is open 12 to 17 Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, until 19 on Thursday, and 11 to 17 at weekends. There are guided tours of the exhibitions every Sunday at 14 and 15.
