The polar-ship museum at Bygdøy where children can board the Fram itself, the strongest wooden ship ever built, and explore three floors of polar history. There is also a new 4D simulator with a polar voyage.

Bus 30 or the ferry from City Hall pier. The museum is open every day all year, 10 to 17 from 1 October to 30 April and 09.30 to 18 from 1 May to 30 September, and tickets do not need to be bought in advance. Adults pay 180 kroner, children and students 70, and a family of two adults and up to five children 400. Pupils from Norwegian schools and kindergartens accompanied by a teacher get in free. A combined ticket with the neighbouring Kon-Tiki Museum costs 325 for adults, 125 for children and 720 for a family.
