Who supports OsloFamilie

OsloFamilie is free to use, and being listed costs nothing. That will not change.

The site still costs something to run. It is funded in two ways, and both are visible to you as a reader.

Businesses can pay to be more visible

A place can buy a labelled spot in its category. That does not affect whether they are listed, because everyone who belongs here is, and it does not affect the order of any list.

Some sections have a supporter

A company can support a whole section, for example the overview of leisure activities. Their name then appears at the top and bottom of that section, always labelled as an ad.

What a supporter never does

• They do not affect which activities, places or offers are listed.
• They do not affect the order of any list. The code that sorts does not even know who the supporters are.
• They do not get space on the page of an individual business.
• They do not appear on pages about public support schemes, pregnancy or birth.
