Tåsen skole, Nordre Aker

The school choir at Tåsen, affiliated with Ung i Kor Oslo, bringing together children from the school and the surrounding neighbourhood. Nordre Aker has an unusually dense children's music scene - school choirs, school brass bands and parent-run string orchestras side by side - and the choir is the cheapest way in of them all, since it requires neither instrument nor equipment. Choral singing gives ear training and ensemble playing in one go.
