Skøyen Aikido

A club for traditional Japanese aikido, with its own children's group for ages 8-12 in new premises at Husebybakken in Montebello. Children's training focuses on basic motor skills, body control and falling technique (ukemi), taught through play and simple partner exercises. Aikido is a soft, non-competitive martial art where you learn to receive and redirect movement rather than meeting force with force.
