Oslo Skøiteklub Kunstløp
Sonja Henie ishall og Frogner stadion, Frogner
Figure skating courses for children and young people in the Sonja Henie ice hall and at Frogner stadium. The club is one of Norway's oldest, founded in 1864, and welcomes beginners who have barely stood on skates. Figure skating is spins, jumps and edge work on ice, and asks more of technique than of speed. The groups are split by age: a skating school for ages 3-5, and figure skating for 6-8, 9-12, 13-15 and 16-17. The club usually lends out skates for the first few sessions.
Some entries include training times and prices, others just the discipline and age group. Those change from season to season, so check with the club before signing up.
