The athletics section is the largest in IL i BUL, with around 350 active athletes. Every summer the club runs an athletics school for children aged 6 to 13 at Bislett stadium, where participants try all the classic events under guidance. Through the rest of the year there are regular training groups for children and youth, and the club takes children from the age of five.

Some entries include training times and prices, others just the discipline and age group. Those change from season to season, so check with the club before signing up.
