The school choir at Bøler, with its own website and board, affiliated with Ung i Kor Oslo. Rehearsals are on Tuesdays in the chapel at Bøler church, with an aspirant choir for years 2 to 4, a children's choir for years 5 to 7 and a youth choir from year 8 upwards. School choirs are among the cheapest music offerings there are for children: you need no instrument, no equipment and no prior knowledge, just the wish to sing. The children learn to use their voice, hold a part against others and perform for an audience - skills that outlast the repertoire by decades.
