Familiesenter Grønland (Røde Kors)

A free, open meeting place for families run by the Red Cross, at Urtegata 50 in Grønland. Open to all families on Mondays and Thursdays, 4:30-7:30pm (with separate days for single parents), and Saturdays noon-3pm, no registration needed. In summer there's a varied program including pottery, science shows, animal visits, dance, theatre and first-aid courses for kids, plus free weekly outings to places like Tusenfryd, Ekeberg petting zoo, Oslo climbing park, Tøyenbadet pool and Marienlyst mini-golf. Run in partnership with the MARTE network centre for single parents.
