Municipal visitor farm right by Årvoll senter, with horses, parrots (cockatoos), hens and doves in the yard. The City of Oslo states that all the municipal visitor farms are free to visit, but that some farms charge admission to certain areas. The old barn houses Galleri Fjøset, with new exhibitions every month. The farm has few parking spaces and encourages public transport; buses 25, 31 and 33 stop right by. Damhuset by Isdammen is available to rent and, according to the farm, suits smaller children's birthday parties, and you can hire canoes as well.
