The pond house by Isdammen, suited to smaller children's birthdays and meetings, costs 3,000 kr on Saturdays and Sundays 10am to midnight, and 1,750 kr for children's activities and 2,000 kr for adults on weekdays, according to the council's page. Businesses pay 25 per cent VAT on top

Your own food and drinks

Not stated in the portal. The rules mention a cooker, fridge and washing-up that you clean after yourselves. The pond house has neither kitchen equipment nor tableware, so you bring your own

Accessibility

Partly step-free. Accessible toilet, with caveats. The council's booking portal marks Fjøset with a lift and an accessible toilet. Kulturloftet, Fjøsloftet and Våningshuset are not marked.

Bjerke district's farm, and the only one in the booking portal that spells out 'naming party', alongside christenings, confirmations and family gatherings. The hirer must be 23. At weekends it is hired from 11am to 1am, music off at 1am and the room tidied by 2am. The farm has six horses in the stable, so they ask for a low noise level. The rent is paid by card when the key is collected.
