Regional youth jazz ensembles for ages 14 to 19, plus a national summer jazz course. You should be able to handle your instrument, but you need not have played in a big band or jazz orchestra before, nor done any improvisation. Reading music is an advantage rather than a requirement, and all instruments are welcome. This is one of the few places a teenager who plays can meet others who play, across schools and bands. Approved for the Oslo leisure card.
