The school choir at Lilleaker, which itself emphasises what singing does for body and soul: a sense of mastery, togetherness and belonging across age and gender. That is one reason school choirs keep children longer than many other activities - you don't compete, you contribute. The choir is open without audition to all pupils at Lilleaker school from year 3 to year 7, with a trainee choir for years 3-4 and a junior choir for years 5-7. A member of Ung i Kor Oslo, rehearsing at the school right after the school day.
