A scout group at Kjelsås, part of Oslospeiderne, with its own scout house in Kurveien. The younger section is for years 3 and 4, the troop for years 5 to 10, and the rover crew for those over eighteen. Nordre Aker has more scout groups than any other district in Oslo, and Kjelsåsspeiderne is one of them - with Lillomarka and Maridalen as its nearest terrain. For children who don't thrive in competitive sport, scouting is often what fits instead.
