A cooking course at Mathallen where one child and one adult cook together - a parent, older sibling, grandparent or another adult. The theme varies between sessions: pizza from scratch, fresh pasta, tacos from Korea and Mexico, Asian dumplings and pancakes, or sushi, with the chefs demonstrating the techniques as you go. The course lasts an hour and a half to two hours, starts at 11am or 2pm, and the food is eaten at the counter or taken out into Mathallen. The price is 1,500 kroner as a package for one adult and one child together, and aprons are lent to you. Kulinarisk Akademi states no minimum age. The course is held in Norwegian, and the pizza and pasta sessions cannot be adapted for gluten allergies.
