🚌 Bus 83 from Jernbanetorget towards Tårnåsen, get off at Katten.

Child-friendly swimming spot with a lovely sandy beach, smooth rocks, a diving board and a cosy kiosk/toilet building from 2009. Grassy lawn with tables and benches for picnics. From the rocks children can fish for crabs, and there is a fixed barbecue in its own area with bench tables, plus a toilet in the summer season. The city advises against swimming for a day after heavy rain, and measures the water temperature in June, July and August.
