🚌 About a 15-minute boat trip from Rådhuskaia.

Oslo's longest and arguably best sandy beach (about 250 metres, crescent-shaped), with a kiosk, toilets, drinking water, barbecue spots and the option to camp for up to two days in a designated area. The bathing area has an accessible ramp, a swimming enclosure and a breakwater, and toilets and water are open through week 40. The island was a waste dump from 1908 to 1948, and the grassy field is the surface of the old tip.
