The world's oldest ski museum sits inside the ski jump itself at Holmenkollen, with 5,000 years of skiing history, polar gear and a ski simulator where children can 'ski' downhill and jump. The same ticket takes you up the jump tower, 64 metres above ground, with a 360-degree view over all of Oslo.

In summer there's a zip line from the top. Open every day all year: 10 to 16 from January to April and from October to December, and 10 to 17 from May to September. On 17 May and 24 and 31 December it is open 10 to 14. Adults pay 200 kroner and children aged 6 to 17 pay 100.
