The glass hut is the main reason to come: children stand behind a railing and watch glassblowers shape glowing glass right in front of them, and it holds their attention longer than most museums. Beyond that there is a playground, open workshops where children can make something themselves, and a small farm. Glassblowing runs Monday to Friday from ten to three, and from eleven at weekends. The site is large and flat, so prams are no problem. About an hour from Oslo by car.
