Lundveien 3, 1900 Fetsund

A log-driving museum and wetland centre where the Glomma meets Øyeren, about forty minutes from Oslo. Timber was floated and sorted here with booms until 1985, and the site stands as it was, with jetties, boats and buildings to walk between. The mix of open-air industrial history and wetland birdlife works for both younger and older children, and much of it is outdoors.
