Day camps for children in the school holidays at Alna Ridesenter, including at Easter. Days are spent riding and grooming the horses, and the centre also runs courses for the youngest from around age three alongside regular riding school courses. There are sibling discounts and week packages.
The day camp costs 900 kroner per day. Bring your own food, and your own helmet: the centre does not lend them out. Alna Ridesenter is listed with Friskus Oslo Fritidskort, so families with children aged 6 to 19 can apply for support and choose an invoice option when signing up; the Fritidskort cannot be used for courses already paid for.
Dates, prices and registration change from break to break and are listed with the organiser. Registration often opens early in the year, and some programmes fill up early.
