DNT's big outdoor day for the whole family, held twice a year, in February and September. Local groups fill the day with activities close to home: campfires, nature trails, sledging, games and simple refreshments, and everything is free and open to all with no sign-up. A good way to try outdoor life with children without planning anything yourself. Location and programme vary each time, so check DNT's pages beforehand.
